Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDADEAFGEDHDHDIDI ACACDDDG

God in the great assembly stands Bagnadath elA
Of Kings and lordly StatesB
Among the gods on both his hands BekerevC
He judges and debatesB
How long will ye pervert the right TishphetuD
With judgment false and wrong gnavelA
Favouring the wicked by your mightD
Who thence grow bold and strongE
Regard the weak and fatherless Shiphtu dalA
Dispatch the poor mans causeF
And raise the man in deep distressG
By just and equal Lawes HatzdikuE
Defend the poor and desolateD
And rescue from the handsH
Of wicked men the low estateD
Of him that help demandsH
They know not nor will understandD
In darkness they walk onI
The Earths foundations all are mov'd JimmotuD
And out of order gonI
I said that ye were Gods yea allA
The Sons of God most highC
But ye shall die like men and fallA
As other Princes dieC
Rise God judge thou the earth in mightD
This wicked earth redress ShiphtaD
For thou art he who shalt by rightD
The Nations all possessG
