-
Jehovah to my words give earB
My meditation waighC
The voyce of my complaining hearB
My King and God for unto thee I prayD
Jehovah thou my early voyceE
Shalt in the morning hearB
Ith'morning I to thee with choyceE
Will rank my Prayers and watch till thou appearF
For thou art not a God that takesE
In wickedness delightG
Evil with thee no biding makesE
Fools or mad men stand not within thy sightG
All workers of iniquityH
Thou wilt destroy that speak a lyI
The bloodi' and guileful man God doth detestJ
But I will in thy mercies dearF
Thy numerous mercies goK
Into thy house I in thy fearF
Will towards thy holy temple worship lowK
Lord lead me in thy righteousnessE
Lead me because of thoseE
That do observe if I transgressE
Set thy wayes right before where my step goesE
For in his faltring mouth unstableL
No word is firm or soothM
Their inside troubles miserableL
An open grave their throat their tongue they smoothM
God find them guilty let them fallN
By their own counsels quell'dO
Push them in their rebellions allN
Still on for against thee they have rebell'dO
Then all who trust in thee shall bringP
Their joy while thou from blameQ
Defend'st them they shall ever singP
And shall triumph in thee who love thy nameQ
For thou Jehovah wilt be foundR
To bless the just man stillS
As with a shield thou wilt surroundR
Him with thy lasting favour and good willS
