Rhyme Scheme: ABACDADEDFDFGHIEJEJD DDDKLKLMNMNOPOPQRQR

Jehovah to my words give earA
My meditation waighB
The voyce of my complaining hearA
My King and God for unto thee I prayC
Jehovah thou my early voyceD
Shalt in the morning hearA
Ith'morning I to thee with choyceD
Will rank my Prayers and watch till thou appearE
For thou art not a God that takesD
In wickedness delightF
Evil with thee no biding makesD
Fools or mad men stand not within thy sightF
All workers of iniquityG
Thou wilt destroy that speak a lyH
The bloodi' and guileful man God doth detestI
But I will in thy mercies dearE
Thy numerous mercies goJ
Into thy house I in thy fearE
Will towards thy holy temple worship lowJ
Lord lead me in thy righteousnessD
Lead me because of thoseD
That do observe if I transgressD
Set thy wayes right before where my step goesD
For in his faltring mouth unstableK
No word is firm or soothL
Their inside troubles miserableK
An open grave their throat their tongue they smoothL
God find them guilty let them fallM
By their own counsels quell'dN
Push them in their rebellions allM
Still on for against thee they have rebell'dN
Then all who trust in thee shall bringO
Their joy while thou from blameP
Defend'st them they shall ever singO
And shall triumph in thee who love thy nameP
For thou Jehovah wilt be foundQ
To bless the just man stillR
As with a shield thou wilt surroundQ
Him with thy lasting favour and good willR
