Psal. Lxxxii. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFGHIAJAKLML NONOCGCG

God in the great assembly standsA
Of Kings and lordly StatesB
Among the gods on both his handsA
He judges and debatesB
How long will ye pervert the rightC
With judgment false and wrongD
Favouring the wicked by your mightC
Who thence grow bold and strongD
Regard the weak and fatherlessE
Dispatch the poor mans causeF
And raise the man in deep distressG
By just and equal LawesH
Defend the poor and desolateI
And rescue from the handsA
Of wicked men the low estateJ
Of him that help demandsA
They know not nor will understandK
In darkness they walk onL
The Earths foundations all are mov'dM
And out of order gonL
I said that ye were Gods yea allN
The Sons of God most highO
But ye shall die like men and fallN
As other Princes dieO
Rise God judge thou the earth in mightC
This wicked earth redressG
For thou art he who shalt by rightC
The Nations all possessG
