Psal. I. Done Into Verse Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEEFFGGHHIIJJ

Bless'd is the man who hath not walk'd astrayA
In counsel of the wicked and ith'wayB
Of sinners hath not stood and in the seatC
Of scorners hath not sate But in the greatD
Jehovahs Law is ever his delightE
And in his law he studies day and nightE
He shall be as a tree which planted growsF
By watry streams and in his season knowsF
To yield his fruit and his leaf shall not fallG
And what he takes in hand shall prosper allG
Not so the wicked but as chaff which fann'dH
The wind drives so the wicked shall not standH
In judgment or abide their tryal thenI
Nor sinners in th'assembly of just menI
For the Lord knows th'upright way of the justJ
And the way of bad men to ruine mustJ
