To Ailsa Rock Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACBCBCB

Hearken thou craggy ocean pyramidA
Give answer by thy voice the sea fowls' screamsB
When were thy shoulders mantled in huge streamsB
When from the sun was thy broad forehead hidA
How long is't since the mighty Power bidA
Thee heave to airy sleep from fathom dreamsB
Sleep in the lap of thunder or sunbeamsB
Or when grey clouds are thy cold coverlidA
Thou answer'st not for thou art dead asleepC
Thy life is but two dead eternitiesB
The last in air the former in the deepC
First with the whales last with the eagle skiesB
Drowned wast thou till an earthquake made thee steepC
Another cannot wake thy giant sizeB
