Sonnet To Byron Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDDCCEEEEEEE

Byron how sweetly sad thy melodyA
Attuning still the soul to tendernessB
As if soft Pity with unusual stressC
Had touch'd her plaintive lute and thou being byD
Hadst caught the tones nor suffer'd them to dieD
O'ershadowing sorrow doth not make thee lessC
Delightful thou thy griefs dost dressC
With a bright halo shining beamilyE
As when a cloud the golden moon doth veilE
Its sides are ting'd with a resplendent glowE
Through the dark robe oft amber rays prevailE
And like fair veins in sable marble flowE
Still warble dying swan still tell the taleE
The enchanting tale the tale of pleasing woeE
