On Visiting The Tomb Of Burns Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDEDEC

The town the churchyard and the setting sunA
The clouds the trees the rounded hills all seemB
Though beautiful cold strange as in a dreamB
I dreamed long ago now new begunA
The short liv'd paly summer is but wonA
From winter's ague for one hour's gleamB
Through sapphire warm their stars do never beamB
All is cold Beauty pain is never doneA
For who has mind to relish Minos wiseC
The real of Beauty free from that dead hueD
Sickly imagination and sick prideE
Cast wan upon it Burns with honour dueD
I oft have honour'd thee Great shadow hideE
Thy face I sin against thy native skiesC
