Sensitiveness Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDCECEFGFH

Time was I shrank from what was rightA
From fear of what was wrongB
I would not brave the sacred fightA
Because the foe was strongB
But now I cast that finer senseC
And sorer shame asideD
Such dread of sin was indolenceC
Such aim at heaven was prideD
So when my Saviour calls I riseC
And calmly do my bestE
Leaving to Him with silent eyesC
Of hope and fear the restE
I step I mount where He has ledF
Men count my haltings o erG
I know them yet though self I dreadF
I love his precept moreH
