Acis And Galatea Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBCBDBD AEEFFE DDGGD

AirA
Love in her eyes sits playingB
And sheds delicious deathC
Love on her lips is strayingB
And warbling in her breathC
Love on her breast sits pantingB
And swells with soft desireD
Nor grace nor charm is wantingB
To set the heart on fireD
-
AirA
O ruddier than the cherryE
O sweeter than the berryE
O Nymph more brightF
Than moonshine nightF
Like kidlings blithe and merryE
-
Ripe as the melting clusterD
No lily has such lustreD
Yet hard to tameG
As raging flameG
And fierce as storms that blusterD
