Hiding her fingers' snow away | E |
And singing softly would sing on | F |

O lingering day her bosom sighed | H |
O laggard Time each motion cried | H |
Last she took the lamp and stood | I |
Rich in its flood | J |
And looked and looked again at what | K |
Her longing fingers' zeal had wrought | L |
And turning then did nothing say | E |
Hiding her thoughts away | E |
