The Tree Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAA BCAA CCAA DDAA EEAA

Oh like a treeA
Let me grow up to TheeA
And like a TreeA
Send down my roots to TheeA
-
Let my leaves stirB
In each sigh of the airC
My branches beA
Lively and glad in TheeA
-
Each leaf a prayerC
And green fire everywhereC
And all from TheeA
The sap within the TreeA
-
And let Thy rainD
Fall or as joy or painD
So that I beA
Yet unforgot of TheeA
-
Then shall I singE
The new song of Thy SpringE
Every leaf of meA
Whispering Love in TheeA
