The Silvery One Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DEF BGH IJK LBM

Clear from the deep sky pours the moonA
Her silver on the heavy darkB
The small stars blinkC
-
Against the moon the maple boughD
Flutters distinct her leafy spearsE
All sound falls weakF
-
Weak the train's whistle the dog's barkB
Slow steps and rustling into her nestG
At last the thrushH
-
All's still only earth turns and breathesI
Then that amazing trembling noteJ
Cleaves the deep waveK
-
Of silence Shivers even that silvery oneL
Sigh all the trees even the cedar darkB
O joy and IM
