The Second Flood Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCC DDEEFFDD GGBBHI JJBBKKLMINOO

How could I know how could I guessA
That here was your great happinessB
In mine And how could I knowC
Your love infinite must growC
-
Suddenly at dawn I wakeD
To see the cruse of colour breakD
Over the East and then the grayE
Creep up with light of common dayE
No no no again that brightF
Flashing flushing flooding lightF
Leading on day until I acheD
With love to see the dark world wakeD
-
O with such second flood your loveG
Painted my earth and heaven aboveG
With such wild magnificenceB
As bruised my heart in every senseB
In every nerve Was ever manH
Fit this renewed love to sustainI
-
Now in these days when Autumn's leafJ
Is red and gold and for a briefJ
Day the earth flowers ere it diesB
What if Spring came with new surpriseB
Came ere the aspen shivered bareK
Or the beech coins glittered in cold airK
Before the rough wind the maple strippedL
And this bare moon on bare boughs steppedM
Vain thought O yet not wholly vainI
Even to me Love has come againN
Moving from your quick breast where heO
Fluttered in his wondering infancyO
