The Return Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DBEB

I heard the rumbling guns I saw the smokeA
The unintelligible shock of hosts that stillB
Far off unseeing strove and strove againC
And Beauty flying naked down the hillB
-
From morn to eve and then stern night cried PeaceD
And shut the strife in darkness all was stillB
Then slowly crept a triumph on the darkE
And I heard Beauty singing up the hillB
