Take Care, Take Care Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAAB CDEED FAFFA

Bind up bind up your dark bright hairA
And hide the smouldering sunken fireB
Let it be held no more than fairA
Nor yourself guess how rare how rareA
Its movement colour and deep fireB
-
Your eyes they have their consciousnessC
Your lips their grave reflective smileD
Your hands their cunning for distressE
Your hair has only beauteousnessE
And hid flame for its only guileD
-
That glowing hair on shoulders whiteF
Is pride past sum take care take careA
Even to dream of wish'd delightF
Too much perturbs the ebb of nightF
Bind up bind up your burning hairA
