November Skies Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCDEFGHHIJJKHCIThan these November skies | A |
Is no sky lovelier The clouds are deep | B |
Into their gray the subtle spies | A |
Of colour creep | B |
Changing that high austerity to delight | C |
Till even the leaden interfolds are bright | C |
And where the cloud breaks faint far azure peers | D |
Ere a thin flushing cloud again | E |
Shuts up that loveliness or shares | F |
The huge great clouds move slowly gently as | G |
Reluctant the quick sun should shine in vain | H |
Holding in bright caprice their rain | H |
And when of colours none | I |
Not rose nor amber nor the scarce late green | J |
Is truly seen | J |
In all the myriad gray | K |
In silver height and dusky deep remain | H |
The loveliest | C |
Faint purple flushes of the unvanquished sun | I |
