Not With These Eyes Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACCBA DEDFFBA GHIJJBA AKALLBA MNOMPQR

Let me not see your griefA
O let not any seeB
That griefA
Nor how your heart still rocksC
Like a temple with long earthquake shocksC
Let me not seeB
Your griefA
-
These eyes have seen such wrongD
Yet remained coldE
Ills grown strongD
Corruption's many headed wormF
Destroying feet that moved so firmF
Shall these eyes seeB
Your griefA
-
And that black worm has crawledG
Into the brainH
Where thought had walkedI
Nobly and love and honour moved as oneJ
And brave things bravely were begunJ
Now can thought seeB
Unabashed your griefA
-
Into that brain your griefA
Has run like cleansing fireK
Your griefA
Through these unfaithful eyes has leaptL
And touched honour where it lightly sleptL
Now when I seeB
In memory your griefA
-
There is no thought that's notM
Yours yoursN
No love that sleepsO
No spiritual door that opens notM
In the green quiet village of thoughtP
Shining with lightQ
And silent to your silenceR
