Bring Your Beauty Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAB CDC EEE BAA FFF

Bring your beauty bring your laughter bring even your fearsA
Bring the grief that is the joy that was in other yearsA
Bring again the happiness bring love bring tearsB
-
There was laughter once there were grave happy eyesC
Talk of firm earth old earth sweeping mysteriesD
There were great silences under clear dark skiesC
-
Now is silence now is loneliness complete all is doneE
The thrush sings at dawn too sweet up creeps the sunE
But all is silent silent for all that was is doneE
-
Yet bring beauty and bring laughter and bring even tearsB
And cast them down strew your happiness and fearsA
Then leave them to the darkness of thought and yearsA
-
Fears in that darkness die they have no springF
Grief in that darkness is a bird that wants wingF
O love love your brightness your beauty bringF
