Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGFHAHIJJ

HER of your name whose fair inheritanceA
Bethina was and jointure MagdaloB
An active faith so highly did advanceC
That she once knew more than the Church did knowD
The Resurrection so much good there isE
Deliver'd of her that some Fathers beF
Loth to believe one woman could do thisG
But think these Magdalens were two or threeF
Increase their number Lady and their fameH
To their devotion add your innocenceA
Take so much of th' example as of the nameH
The latter half and in some recompenseI
That they did harbour Christ Himself a guestJ
Harbour these hymns to His dear Name address'dJ
