The Token Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGBGB HH

Send me some token that my hope may liveA
Or that my easeless thoughts may sleep and restB
Send me some honey to make sweet my hiveA
That in my passions I may hope the bestB
I beg no riband wrought with thine own handsC
To knit our loves in the fantastic strainD
Of new touched youth nor ring to show the standsC
Of our affection that as that's round and plainD
So should our loves meet in simplicityE
No nor the corals which thy wrist enfoldF
Laced up together in congruityE
To show our thoughts should rest in the same holdF
No nor thy picture though most graciousG
And most desired because best like the bestB
Nor witty lines which are most copiousG
Within the writings which thou hast addressedB
-
Send me nor this nor that to increase my storeH
But swear thou think'st 'I love thee ' and no moreH
