Holy Sonnet Xvi: Father Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAAABCAADADAA

Father part of his double interestA
Unto thy kingdome thy Sonne gives to meeB
His joynture in the knottie TrinitieA
Hee keepes and gives to me his deaths conquestA
This Lambe whose death with life the world hath blestA
Was from the worlds beginning slaine and heB
Hath made two Wills which with the LegacieC
Of his and thy kingdome doe thy Sonnes investA
Yet such are thy laws that men argue yetA
Whether a man those statutes can fulfillD
None doth but all healing grace and spiritA
Revive againe what law and letter killD
Thy lawes abridgement and thy last commandA
Is all but love Oh let this last Will standA
