Holy Sonnet Xv: Wilt Thou Love God, As He Thee? Then Digest Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAADBAEFGEHH

Wilt thou love God as he thee Then digestA
My soul this wholesome meditationB
How God the Spirit by angels waited onC
In heaven doth make his Temple in thy breastA
The Father having begot a Son most blestA
And still begetting for he ne'er be goneD
Hath deigned to choose thee by adoptionB
Co heir t' his glory and Sabbath' endless restA
And as a robbed man which by search doth findE
His stol'n stuff sold must lose or buy 't againF
The Son of glory came down and was slainG
Us whom he'd made and Satan stol'n to unbindE
'Twas much that man was made like God beforeH
But that God should be made like man much moreH
