Holy Sonnet Xi: Spit In My Face You Jewes Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAAACADAEAFF

Spit in my face you Jewes and pierce my sideA
Buffet and scoffe scourge and crucifie meeB
For I have sinn'd and sinn'd and onely heeB
Who could do no iniquitie hath dyedA
But by my death can not be satisfiedA
My sinnes which passe the Jewes impietyA
They kill'd once an inglorious man but IC
Crucifie him daily being now glorifiedA
Oh let mee then his strange love still admireD
Kings pardon but he bore our punishmentA
And Jacob came cloth'd in vile harsh attireE
But to supplant and with gainfull intentA
God cloth'd himselfe in vile mans flesh that soF
Hee might be weake enough to suffer woeF
