Holy Sonnet Vi: This Is My Play's Last Scene, Here Heavens Appoint Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBAACACDD

This is my play's last scene here heavens appointA
My pilgrimage's last mile and my raceB
Idly yet quickly run hath this last paceB
My span's last inch my minute's latest pointA
And gluttonous death will instantly unjointA
My body and soul and I shall sleep a spaceB
But my ever waking part shall see that faceB
Whose fear already shakes my every jointA
Then as my soul t' heaven her first seat takes flightA
And earth born body in the earth shall dwellC
So fall my sins that all may have their rightA
To where they're bred and would press me to hellC
Impute me righteous thus purged of evilD
For thus I leave the world the flesh the devilD
