Holy Sonnet Ii: As Due By Many Titles I Resign Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDDCCC

As due by many titles I resignA
My self to Thee O God first I was madeB
By Thee and for Thee and when I was decayedB
Thy blood bought that the which before was ThineA
I am Thy son made with Thy Self to shineA
Thy servant whose pains Thou hast still repaidB
Thy sheep thine image and till I betrayedB
My self a temple of Thy Spirit divineA
Why doth the devil then usurp on meC
Why doth he steal nay ravish that's thy rightD
Except thou rise and for thine own work fightD
Oh I shall soon despair when I do seeC
That thou lov'st mankind well yet wilt not choose meC
And Satan hates me yet is loth to lose meC
