The Ship Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHIHJKLK

There was no song nor shout of joyA
Nor beam of moon or sunB
When she came back from the voyageC
Long ago begunB
But twilight on the watersD
Was quiet and greyE
And she glided steady steady and pensiveF
Over the open bayE
-
Her sails were brown and raggedG
And her crew hollow eyedH
But their silent lips spoke contentI
And their shoulders prideH
Though she had no captives on her deckJ
And in her holdK
There were no heaps of corn or timberL
Or silks or goldK
