The Lake Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKK

I am a lake altered by every windA
The mild South breathes upon me and I spreadB
A dance of merry ripples in the sunC
The West comes stormily and I am troubledD
My waves conflict and black depths show between themE
Under the East wind bitter I grow and chillF
Slate coloured desolate hopeless But when blowsG
A steady wind from the North my motion ceasesH
I am frozen smooth and hard my conquered surfaceI
Returns the skies' cold light without a commentJ
I make no sound nor can I nor can I showK
What depth I have if any depth belowK
