Vision Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEF GHIHJKJKLMLM NONOPQPQFNFN

The wintry sun was paleA
On hill and hedgeB
The wind smote with its flailA
The seeded sedgeB
High up above the worldC
New taught to flyD
The withered leaves were hurledC
About the skyD
And there through death and dearthE
It went and cameF
The Glory of the earthE
That hath no nameF
-
I know not what it isG
I only knowH
It quivers in the blissI
Where roses blowH
That on the winter's breathJ
It broods in spaceK
And o'er the face of deathJ
I see its faceK
And start and stand betweenL
Delight and doleM
As though mine eyes had seenL
A living SoulM
-
And I have followed itN
As thou hast doneO
Where April shadows flitN
Beneath the sunO
In dawn and dusk and starP
In joy and fearQ
Have seen its glory farP
And felt it nearQ
And dared recall his nameF
Who stood unshodN
Before a fireless flameF
And called it GodN
