Oblivion Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AA BB CC DD EE FF GG HH

Green moss will creepA
Along the shady graves where we shall sleepA
-
Each year will bringB
Another brood of birds to nest and singB
-
At dawn will goC
New ploughmen to the fields we used to knowC
-
Night will call homeD
The hunter from the hills we loved to roamD
-
She will not askE
The milkmaid singing softly at her taskE
-
Nor will she careF
To know if I were brave or you were fairF
-
No one will thinkG
What chalice life had offered us to drinkG
-
When from our clayH
The sun comes back to kiss the snow awayH
