Dawn Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD

The hills again reach skyward with a smileA
Again with waking life along its wayB
The landscape marches westward mile on mileA
And time throbs white into another dayB
-
Though eager life must wait on livelihoodC
And all our hopes be tethered to the martD
Lacking the eagle's wild high freedom wouldC
That ours might be this day the eagle's heartD
