He keeps his eye on herB

I'll crawl in bed an' go to sleepF
When maw begins to churn itE

Paw bends to read his almanaxG
An' study out the weatherB
An' bud has got a gourd o' greaseG
To ile his harness leatherB

Sis looks an' looks into the fireB
Half squintin' through her lashesG
An' I jis watch my tater whereH
It shoots smoke through the ashesG
