| My poor heart flutters like the sea | B |
| Now heaving on the sandy shore | C |
| It seems to tell me you shall be | B |
| Never again near Yarrimore | C |
| - | |
| Far far beyond the waves I bend | D |
| Mine eyes if I can land explore | C |
| But o'er the waves I find no end | D |
| Yet there they say's my Yarrimore | C |
| - | |
| The hut he built is standing still | E |
| Deck'd with the shells he cull'd from shore | C |
| Our bow'r is waving on the hill | E |
| But where alas is Yarrimore | C |
| - | |
| Within that bow'r I'll sit and sigh | F |
| From dawn of day till day is o'er | C |
| And as the wild winds o'er me fly | F |
| I'll call on gentle Yarrimore | C |
