Lines To Study Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGGHHDDII CCJJKKLLMMNO

O Study while thy lovers raiseA
Thy name with all the pow'r of praiseA
Frown not thou nymph with piercing mindB
If in this bosom thou should'st findB
That all thy deep thy brilliant loreC
Which charm'd it once now charms no moreC
Frown not if on thy classic lineD
One strange uncall'd for tear should shineD
Frown not if when a smile should startE
A sigh should heave an aching heartE
If Mem'ry roving far awayF
Should an unmeaning homage payF
Should ask thee for thy golden fruitG
And when thou deign'st to hear her suitG
Should turn her from the proffer'd foodH
To tread the shades of SolitudeH
Frown not if in the humble lineD
Ungrac'd by any thought of thineD
Should but that gentle name appearI
Fond cause of ev'ry joy and fearI
I love tho' rude I love it moreC
Than all thy piles of letter'd loreC
Frown not if ev'ry airy wordJ
Which Beauty breathes or Love has heardJ
More rich more eloquently flowK
To Mem'ry gives a warmer glowK
Than all by thee so much approv'dL
The wit of age on age improv'dL
Go then and since it is deniedM
That thou shalt be my radiant guideM
Leave me to sigh to weep to proveN
How little Learning is to LoveO
