The Plantster's Vision Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA ABBA CDECDE

Cut down that timber Bells too many and strongA
Pouring their music through the branches bareB
From moon white church towers down the windy airB
Have pealed the centuries out with EvensongA
-
Remove those cottages a huddled throngA
Too many babies have been born in thereB
Too many coffins bumping down the stairB
Carried the old their garden paths alongA
-
I have a Vision of the Future chumC
The workers' flats in fields of soya beansD
Tower up like silver pencils score on scoreE
And Surging Millions hear the Challenge comeC
From microphones in communal canteensD
No Right No Wrong All's perfect evermoreE
