Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMCCENOPQ RSTUVCTWF

More than a thousand yearsA
Was I confined to this roomB
To dig this well of GleeC
Many departed hours had ID
Dwelth in this domicile of delightE
I have feasted on the tablesF
Of pleasurable contentionsG
Of eternal existenceH
And had drank wine on theI
Cup of interminable joyJ
Tomorrow my life will be differentK
I will forever live on the pit of sorrowL
Taking my bath with urine of thornsM
Quenching my thirst with fires of miseryC
Horsey worms will feast on meC
And black fanged serpents will glare at me as they biteE
Time ad infinitum must I remainsN
In this pad and this pitO
But where are its gainP
Of Pleasurable promisesQ
Where are its pain of painful caveatR
Yet next one million years when gumption came knocking onS
the portals ofT
My pains and preferencesU
I went into the next room of reasonV
And awoke the slumberous absurdityC
He took me to the boulevard ofT
SolitudeW
And told me the veracity of my life heaven hell and angelsF
