| He went into the dark to find the light | A |
| And there he pointed a flashlight | A |
| It was as dim as a candlelight | A |
| Illuminating like a spotlight | A |

| Looking closely he saw the smartest idiot and bravest Knight | A |
| And from nowhere shone a bright light | A |
| As bright as a diamond and pale as the moonlight | A |
| Finally the Greatest Idiot looked around | C |
| And with great foolishness he said | D |
| Turn on the light | A |
