The Bitter Herb Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE AGAG AHIH

O bitter herb ForgetfulnessA
I search for you in vainB
You are the only growing thingC
Can take away my painB
-
When I was young this bitter herbD
Grew wild on every hillE
I should have plucked a store of itF
And kept it by me stillE
-
I hunt through all the meadowsA
Where once I wandered freeG
But the rare herb ForgetfulnessA
It hides away from meG
-
O bitter herb ForgetfulnessA
Where is your drowsy breathH
Oh can it be your seed has blownI
Far as the Vales of DeathH
