The Measureless Gulfs Of Air Are Full Of Thee. (hymn) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBD EFEF GBGB HIHI JKJK

In Him we live and move and have our beingA
-
The measureless gulfs of air are full of TheeB
Thou Art and therefore hang the stars they waitC
And swim and shine in God who bade them beB
And hold their sundering voids inviolateD
-
A God concern'd veil'd in pure light to blessE
With sweet revealing of His love the soulF
Toward things piteous full of piteousnessE
The Cause the Life and the continuing WholeF
-
He is more present to all things He madeG
Than anything unto itself can beB
Full foliaged boughs of Eden could not shadeG
Afford since God was also 'neath the treeB
-
Thou knowest me altogether I knew notH
Thy likeness till Thou mad'st it manifestI
There is no world but is Thy heaven no spotH
Remote Creation leans upon Thy breastI
-
Thou art beyond all stars yet in my heartJ
Wonderful whisperings hold Thy creature dumbK
I need no search afar to me Thou artJ
Father Redeemer and Renewer comeK
