Sweet Are His Ways Who Rules Above. (hymn) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCCB DEED FGGF HCCH IGGI BJJB

Though I take the wings of the morningA
-
Sweet are His ways who rules aboveB
He gives from wrath a sheltering placeC
But covert none is found from graceC
Man shall not hide himself from loveB
-
What though I take to me the wideD
Wings of the morning and forth flyE
Faster He goes whoso care on highE
Shepherds the stars and doth them guideD
-
What though the tents foregone I roamF
Till day wax dim lamenting meG
He wills that I shall sleep to seeG
The great gold stairs to His sweet homeF
-
What though the press I pass beforeH
And climb the branch He lifts his faceC
I am not secret from His graceC
Lost in the leafy sycamoreH
-
What though denied with murmuring deepI
I shame my Lord it shall not beG
For He will turn and look on meG
Then must I think thereon and weepI
-
The nether depth the heights aboveB
Nor alleys pleach'd of ParadiseJ
Nor Herod's judgment halls sufficeJ
Man shall not hide himself from loveB
