Defton Wood Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEGHGHGIGI BJKJLHHHGMGMGIGI

I held my way through Defton WoodA
And on to Wandor HallB
The dancing leaf let down the lightC
In hovering spots to fallB
O young young leaves you match me wellD
My heart was merry and sungE
Now wish me joy of my sweet youthF
My love she too is youngE
O so many many manyG
Little homes above my headH
O so many many manyG
Dancing blossoms round me spreadH
O so many many manyG
Maidens sighing yet for noneI
Speed ye wooers speed with anyG
Speed with all but oneI
-
I took my leave of Wandor HallB
And trod the woodland waysJ
What shall I do so long to bearK
The burden of my daysJ
I sighed my heart into the boughsL
Whereby the culvers cooedH
For only I between them wentH
Unwooing and unwooedH
O so many many manyG
Lilies bending stately headsM
O so many many manyG
Strawberries ripened on their bedsM
O so many many manyG
Maids and yet my heart undoneI
What to me are all are anyG
I have lost my oneI
