An Arrow-slit Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEFE GHA IJBJ KLA

I clomb full high the belfry towerA
Up to yon arrow slit up and awayB
I said 'let me look on my heart's fair flowerA
In the wall d garden where she doth play 'C
-
My care she knoweth not no nor the causeD
White rose red rose about her hungE
And I aloft with the doves and the dawsF
They coo and call to their callow youngE
-
Sing 'O an she were a white rosebud fairG
Dropt and in danger from passing feetH
'T is I would render her service tenderA
Upraised on my bosom with reverence meet '-
-
Playing at the ball my dearest of allI
When she grows older how will it beJ
I dwell far away from her thoughts to dayB
That heed not need not or mine or meJ
-
Sing 'O an my love were a fledgeling doveK
That flutters forlorn o' her shallow nestL
'T is I would render her service tenderA
And carry her carry her on my breast '-
