Two June Nights Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEE DDDDFGFGEE

A red rose in my lady's hairA
A white rose in her fingersB
A wild bird singing low somewhereA
A song that pulses lingersB
The sound of dancing and of mirthC
The fiddle's merry chimingD
A smell of earth of fresh warm earthC
And honeysuckle climbingD
My lady near yet far awayE
Ah lonely June of yesterdayE
-
A big white night of velvet skyD
And Milky Way a gleamingD
The fragrant blue smoke drifting byD
From camp fire brightly beamingD
The stillness of the Northland farF
God's solitudes of splendorG
My road a trail my chart a starF
Wind 'mong the balsams slenderG
Sing low O glad June of to dayE
My lady's near though far awayE
