My Lady Nightingale Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIJ KBLB

I heard you singing in the groveA
My Lady NightingaleB
The thirsty leaves were drinking dewC
And all the sky was paleB
-
A silence clear as bells of peaceD
Your song thrilled on the airE
Each liquid note a thing of joyF
And sweet beyond compareE
-
Not all of joy a haunting strainG
Of sorrow and of tearsH
A note of grief which seemed to voiceI
The sadness of the yearsJ
-
'Twas pure 'twas clear 'twas wondrous sweetK
My Lady NightingaleB
Yet subtly sad the song you sangL
When all the sky was paleB
