Living Freshness Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHAIJ

O freshness living freshness of a dayA
In June Spring scarce has gotten out of sightB
And not a stain of wear shows on the grassC
Beneath our feet and not a dead leaf callsD
Our day of loveliness is past and goneE
I found the thick wood steeped in pleasant smellsF
The dainty ferns hid in their sheltered nooksG
The wild flowers found the sunlight where they stoodH
And some hid their white faces quite awayA
While others lifted up their starry eyesI
And seemed right glad to ruffle in the breezeJ
