Friend Or Foe? Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEGHIH BJKJHLMLNOPO QRPR

There's a man I knowA
A likeable manB
Whom you meanly woundC
Whenever you canB
Remark with maliceD
His task is done illE
He's poor of judgmentF
And weak of willE
I implore you nowG
As that poor man's friendH
Let persecutionI
Have speediest endH
-
Cease taunting the manB
With blunders he makesJ
Cease harping alwayK
On wrongs and mistakesJ
Come be his good friendH
Hail fellow well metL
His failures forgiveM
And his faults forgetL
Who is the man you'veN
Discouraged and blamedO
The man is yourselfP
Are you not ashamedO
-
For faults of the pastQ
Make ample amendsR
And you and yourselfP
Be the best of friendsR
