And I always wonderA
WhatB
I always wondered why you just leftC
-
You didn't fight for meD
I found myself asking if you ever even loved meD
-
You left meD
My heart was still filled with love and it was over flowingE
And I was left by youF
and all that love made me drownG
-
And you couldn't even jump in and save meD
-
I started to run dryH
The love I couldn't give youF
Dried upI
And I was left in an dessert for a whileJ
-
Day and nightK
My heart was achingE
Questions floatingE
CryingE
Asking whether I was enough why wasn't I enoughL
-
-
Why did you lieH
-
And I started to healM
Day by dayN
-
And it took long for the dessert to become a garden filled with beautiful roses and fountainsO
-
One night I laid and looked at the moonP
And a tear slipped from my eyeH
-
But I looked around and smiledQ
And realized that because you left I became more than I ever could imagineR
-
And some fool asked me whether I'd go back to the one who left me drowningE
-
I simply smiled and said why would IH
I always wondered why you leftC
-
But the reason became clear when I saw that it was to become who I am nowS
-
So now I sayN
-
Thank you for leavingE
And don't you dare come backT
