Hunt Me Well Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CDEF CC GH IJCC KLMCNO ACCPBBAA

Hunt me well and you will find meA
Hunt him well and you would find himB
-
Oh hail the feet of the one my eyes look toC
A man in all your eyes but a god before mineD
You who blind my eyes like the sunE
And show no mercy when I am wrongF
-
Is it wrong for a man to treat me as a hunted bear out of fear of what I might doC
Or is it wrong to overprotect yourself by shooting innocent victims before they hurt youC
-
I am marginalised in the midst of you for what I know nothing ofG
I am marginalised by you for reasons only you can understandH
-
Why do you fear a snake when your legs are not on its tailI
Why do you fear fire when your body is not close to any flameJ
Does the color of my skin ignite the volcano when i'm seen by youC
Or does the movement of my body explode the twin towers when I'm near youC
-
So why do you treat me as a common criminalK
Why do you disrespect me in the name of your uncommon lawL
When your discretion is amplified beyond the truthM
What kind of man does it make youC
A mighty knightN
Or a frightened giantO
-
Hunt me well and you would find meA
He cries to youC
Hunt him well and you will find him I'm telling youC
For I am not the enemy you seekP
But a man just like himB
Hunt him well and you will find himB
Hunt me well and you will find meA
Hunt me and stop discrimination against meA
