Lament Xiv Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEFGGHHIIGG

Where are those gates through which so long agoA
Orpheus descended to the realms belowA
To seek his lost one Little daughter IB
Would find that path and pass that ford wherebyB
The grim faced boatman ferries pallid shadesC
And drives them forth to joyless cypress gladesC
But do thou not desert me lovely luteD
Be thou the furtherance of my mournful suitD
Before dread Pluto till he shall give earE
To our complaints and render up my dearF
To his dim dwelling all men must repairG
And so must she her father's joy and heirG
But let him grant the fruit now scarce in flowerH
To fill and ripen till the harvest hourH
Yet if that god doth bear a heart withinI
So hard that one in grief can nothing winI
What can I but renounce this upper airG
And lose my soul but also lose my careG
