Lament Xii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEFGGFFHHIIJJ FFKKLLJJ

I think no father under any skyA
More fondly loved a daughter than did IA
And scarcely ever has a child been bornB
Whose loss her parents could more justly mournB
Unspoiled and neat obedient at all timesC
She seemed already versed in songs and rhymesC
And with a highborn courtesy and artD
Though but a babe she played a maiden's partD
Discreet and modest sociable and freeE
From jealous habits docile mannerlyF
She never thought to taste her morning fareG
Until she should have said her morning prayerG
She never went to sleep at night untilF
She had prayed God to save us all from illF
She used to run to meet her father whenH
He came from any journey home againH
She loved to work and to anticipateI
The servants of the house ere they could waitI
Upon her parents This she had begunJ
When thirty months their little course had runJ
So many virtues and such active zealF
Her youth could not sustain she fell from wealF
Ere harvest Little ear of wheat thy primeK
Was distant 'tis before thy proper timeK
I sow thee once again in the sad earthL
Knowing I bury with thee hope and mirthL
For thou wilt not spring up when blossoms quickenJ
But leave mine eyes forever sorrow strickenJ
